The Children’s Museum of Phoenix has brought back its popular winter experience, SOCK SKATING which is skating on white, slippery tiles reminiscent of ice but without the chill. This year’s SOCK SKATING experience will be moved inside the Museum and will be an expanded version of the activity than previous years when it was outside.

Kids and their parents are invited to slip, slide and glide across a white slippery surface in their socks. It’s just like ice skating but without the frosty fingers and fear of blades. Kids can sock skate to music and enjoy festive wintery decorations throughout the space.

SOCK SKATING is open for play through Feb. 6 and is free with paid museum admission of $16 per person. Members and children under age 1 are free.  Masks are required for all guests ages 2 and above, regardless of vaccination status, when inside the museum.
