Now that the temps are finally dropping, Valley pup parents are invited to bring their four-legged family members to socialize and explore during the Desert Botanical Garden’s Dog Days at the Garden events. Upcoming dates are Nov. 9, 16 and 23, from 8-11 a.m.
The event is included with membership or general admission and allows patrons and their pups to enjoy a weekend excursion through the garden’s trails – a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors together with some great photo opportunities.
For the health and safety of guests and dogs, water fountains and refill stations are located throughout the garden, visitors are asked to clean up after their dog and deposit bagged waste in trash receptacles, dogs must be on a leash, licensed, and up-to-date on vaccinations, owners must maintain control of their dogs at all times, and any dogs deemed to be aggressive to humans or other dogs will be asked to leave the garden. Guests should also watch out for noses and paws and be alert to cactus pieces and other debris on the trails and do not allow dogs to wander off trail.
Desert Botanical Garden is located at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway. For more information, call or visit www.dbg.org.
