Angelina Bravo

After an extensive executive search, Xico announced the appointment of Angelina Bravo as its next executive director. She will officially assume her role in January 2026, taking on full operational leadership of the organization. Until that time, Nadia Rivera will continue to serve as interim executive director.

A fourth-generation Arizonan, Bravo brings deep roots and a lifelong commitment to the state’s diverse communities. A graduate of the Hispanic Leadership Institute, Bravo earned her degree in broadcast journalism and marketing from the University of Arizona. She lives in Central Phoenix with her husband and two daughters.

“I am honored to have been selected to lead Xico, one of the most influential Latino and Indigenous focused organizations in Arizona,” said Bravo. “It is a privilege to step into this role with a commitment to tending to the roots of Xico, while expanding our reach to new communities across our state and region.”

Founded in 1975, Xico is a nonprofit multidisciplinary arts organization dedicated to nourishing and celebrating Latino and Indigenous artists. Learn more by visiting www.xico.org.
