Crescent Ballroom’s Phoenix Rock Lottery returns for its 12th anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 24, which will bring unique performances and unexpected collaborations to Valley music lovers.
Twenty-five talented Phoenix musicians will come together to embark on a difficult challenge: form five new bands, having been randomly curated by drawing names from a hat, each will write three original songs, learn one cover song, and deliver a live performance – all within a single day. The performances will take place at Crescent Ballroom, 308 N. 2nd Ave. in Downtown Phoenix, that same evening.
The lineup promises to be as jam-packed with Phoenix music talent as ever, organizers said. A full lineup announcement is coming soon.
The event is dedicated to supporting Rosie’s House, a local nonprofit organization that provides music education, instruments and free instruction to underserved youth in the greater Phoenix area. The event not only celebrates the talent of Phoenix musicians but also positively impacts the community.
