After six years at 6102 N. 16th St., founder Cathleen Mitchell moved her eight-year-old wellness business, Kaya Holistic, just up the street to 6522 N. 16th St., joining tenants Pie Snob, Linger Longer Lounge and others.

Mitchell, who grew up in the neighborhood, says that the new space will allow the company to expand its offerings and deepen its role as a community-centered wellness destination.

“Kaya is more than a retail boutique – it is a soft place to land,” she said. “Rooted in care, connection and mindful living, the shop offers small-batch botanical products, handcrafted artisan goods and seasonally guided ritual kits. Each item is thoughtfully chosen to support self-care, nourishment, and alignment – honoring body, mind and spirit.”

The shop offers a curated selection of products and heartfelt experiences centered around herbalism, energy healing, creative expression, movement, mindfulness and farming and gardening. Beyond the shop, Kaya thrives through community, Mitchell said.

“We collaborate with friends, local makers and aligned practitioners to host workshops, events and gatherings that nourish the collective spirit and cultivate meaningful connection.”

Two months in at the new space, Mitchell says she enjoys seeing friends and families that she has known since childhood stop by, as well as meeting new people from all over the Valley.

“I’m deeply grateful to continue growing Kaya here and look forward to welcoming our neighbors into our new space.”

Kaya Holistic is open daily, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Find a list of upcoming events and other information online at www.kayaholistic.com.
