It’s been 22 years of happy shopping and sisterly bliss since Ann and Jenny Siner opened their first location of My Sister’s Closet in a quaint space at the Town & Country Shopping Center, located near 20th Street and Camelback Road.
Starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, the same day shoppers get their first peak at springtime looks, My Sister’s Closet and Well Suited will open its stylish doors in a new contemporary space just behind Nordstrom Rack at the Town & Country center.

Seated on cement floors underneath an exposed ceiling, the new 6,373-square-foot space at Town & Country will offer shoppers a more modern and fashionable feel with the same killer deals on designer handbags, shoes, clothing, hats, accessories and jewelry.

To celebrate this occasion, the first 100 people lined up outside My Sister’s Closet at 4859 N. 20th St. on Feb. 8 will get a free Swag Bag filled with goodies from nearby merchants.

Shoppers at all stores also will get first dibs on one-of-a-kind spring looks during the annual Spring Unveiling. For a list of all Valley stores, visit mysisterscloset.com.

Hair salon under new management
Hair Again, owned by Linda Taylor Laughren for 30 years, is now under new ownership. A recent graduate from Paul Mitchell the School-Phoenix and a stylist at the shop, Kara McAllister-Dommel purchased the salon on Dec. 1, 2013.

To get the new year started off right, Kara has remodeled the shop at 2047 W. Glendale Ave. with a new look. Inspired by Paul Mitchell’s black-and-white theme and fashion maven Coco Chanel, the salon has a warm, shabby chic feel.

Hair Again’s year-round specials include 50-percent off your first haircut, $25 gel nails with nail art and/or manicure, and a pedicure for $35 (first time only on both).

Contact Hair Again at 602-242-5475 for more information or to make an appointment.
