Things will get wild on Sept. 1 with the launch of Match Restaurant & Lounge’s latest cooking class, led by Executive Chef Alex Stratta, featuring wild mushroom recipes.

The Saturday event, set for 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., features a welcome cocktail as well as demonstration and tasting of the following three fungi-inspired recipes: Maitake Mushroom and Chicken Liver Crostini with raisins and green apples; Shiitake and Porcini Gemelle with parmigiano and butter; and Chicken and Chanterelle Fricassee with artichokes, bacon and shallots.

Cost is $50 per person, and space is limited. Reservations can be made by calling 602-875-8080. Match is located inside the FOUND:RE hotel at 1100 N. Central Ave.
