The national American Advertising Federation awarded Phoenix-based design and advertising firm P.S. Studios, Inc. a Gold Book Design ADDY for “And the Land Grew Quiet: New Work by Matthew Moore,” on behalf of Phoenix Art Museum.

The award was presented at a ceremony held at The Biltmore Resort & Spa on June 8. Brad Jones of P.S. Studios was the graphic designer on the project, working closely with Peter Shikany, who provided creative direction.

The book documented the 2013 exhibition of Arizona artist Matthew Moore at the Phoenix Art Museum. The two-gallery installation was a meditation on the issues of land use, urban growth and it’s economic consequences. The book successfully captured the complex issues and subtle beauty of the exhibition.

The Gold ADDY came after P.S. Studios had won three additional ADDY awards at the local and regional award shows.

P.S. Studios, located 3002 N. 3rd St. provides design and marketing services for national and local clients. For more information, visit psstudios.com or call 602-253-0390.
