Motorists seeking quality auto repair have a resource thanks to AAA’s 2013 Top Shops list, which includes Kelly Clark Automotive, 1201 E. Glendale Ave. Now in its twelfth year, 29 Arizona repair facilities earned the award for 2013; Kelly Clark’s second location on Bell Road also made this year’s list.

“AAA’s Approved Auto Repair (AAR) provides a way for drivers to find a repair shop they know they can trust,” said Don Nunnari, vice president of automotive services for AAA Arizona. “Top Shops surpass AAA’s stringent requirements. These facilities represent the best that our automotive network has to offer.”

Facilities must belong to AAA’s AAR network to be eligible for the award. AAR facilities must adhere to more than 20 standards, including:
• Annual inspection by AAA
• Staff Automotive Service Excellence technicians for each area of service offered
• Guarantee repairs for at least 12 months or 12,000 miles for AAA members
• Accept the final decision of AAA in resolving disputes with AAA members

In addition, Top Shops must also maintain a 90 percent customer approval rating. They must be actively involved in the community and uphold an exemplary business reputation.
