Native American Connections will host its 32nd Annual Parade on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at 9 a.m. The theme is, “Body, Mind and Spirit – Healthy in our Communities.”

The parade is part of the Native American Recognition Days events held in October and November. It will start at 3rd Street and Earll Drive, and will head north to Steele Indian School Park.

All entries are welcome. To enter a float or community group, contact NAC at 602-254-3247 or e-mail parade@nativeconnections.org.

After the parade, there will be an Open House at Steele Indian School Park to showcase the renovation project of the former band building. A Native American Gourd Dance also will be held during that time to honor American Veterans. All events are free and open to the public.
