Each year, the city of Phoenix’s budget is developed in conjunction with residents, the mayor, city council, city manager and city employees.

The city manager was scheduled to present his preliminary budget for fiscal year 2015-16 to the Phoenix City Council on March 24. In the meantime, community budget meetings continue, where residents can get a snapshot of the tentative budget and give their input. Upcoming meetings include:
• 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, Phoenix College-Osborn Complex, Willo Room, 3310 N. 10th Ave.
• 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, Madison School District Board Room, 5601 N. 16th St.

If you can’t attend one of the public meetings, the summary budget booklet can be downloaded from: www.phoenix.gov/budget.
