Valley Youth Theatre, a nonprofit children’s theater in downtown Phoenix, recently announced three new board members.
Dustin Marshall, founder and director of operations at Community Medical Clinic (CMC), has been voted to a three-year term on the VYT Board of Directors.
“Serving on the VYT Board is truly an opportunity to give back to an organization that has given so much,” said Marshall. “The vibrancy of the stage extends into our community. It is important for a healthy, active, and creative city to support theater.”
Darien Evans, general counsel at imortgage, also has been elected to a three-year term on the VYT board. “VYT is an amazing organization with a stellar reputation,” said Evans. “Its work directly benefits the Phoenix community, and I am thrilled for this opportunity to contribute.”
Joining Marshall and Evans for the next three years on the board will be James Rough, associate director in the disputes and investigations practice at Navigant Consulting.
“I saw how much joy and excitement The Valley Youth Theatre brings to the community after taking my own son to see ‘Seussical’,” said Rough. “He had an incredible time and I decided right then that I wanted to be part of this organization. All children should be able to see and experience the arts.”
