It’s easy to identify the new fitness studio in the Madison Village Shopping Center as being part of the Orangetheory family—orange-colored signage, orange member T-shirts, and even orange lighting inside, giving the place an almost surreal feel.
But what makes Orangetheory Fitness really stand out of from its competitors is not all the orange tones—it’s the personal training.
Sure, other gyms offer personal training, usually for an additional fee. But at the new Orangetheory Fitness that opened on Feb. 5, what you get is “group” personal training—at no extra charge.
“The workout is a total body workout that lasts one hour. Its heart rate-based training, so we can guarantee results,” explains Bobbe Ariano, who owns the studio as well as one that opened a few years ago in Arcadia. “The workouts are filled with energy and fantastic music. You’ll never have the same workout and, no matter your fitness level, you will always feel accomplished and proud. It’s fun, affordable and most of all, it’s personal.”
Ariano has been in the fitness business for 15 years, and owned her first gym in Durango, Colo. She moved to Arizona five years ago and found Orangetheory Fitness. She’s been a franchise owner for the last four years. “It’s an amazing concept,” she says.
She chose the Madison Village shopping center, at the northeast corner of 7th Street and Glendale Avenue, as her newest location because “there aren’t any other fitness studios in the Central Phoenix area that provide what we provide at Orangetheory Fitness.”
Workout sessions are offered as early as 5 a.m. weekdays and 6 a.m. on Saturday, or 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. Evening sessions begin as late at 6:45 p.m. weekdays only.
