The grand opening and dedication of the Loma Linda Blanche Duggan Memorial Garden will take place 10 a.m. Saturday, October 31, on the campus of Loma Linda School, 2002 E. Clarendon Ave. The event is free and open to the public.

The garden project is a result of the work of the Loma Linda Neighborhood Association and has been a work in progress for the last three years. The association was formed over 25 years ago and meets monthly at the school.

Duggan was a highly respected member of the association and one of its originals founders. She served as an organizer and neighborhood historian. Duggan was an avid gardener as well as a dearly loved, vibrant neighbor who actively supported the school community.
