The Desert Mission Food Bank, 9229 N. 4th St., hosts a free Gardening Class 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 that is open to the public.
Learn gardening basics specific to Arizona, such as what grows best during the cooler fall and winter seasons. The class also will present the health benefits of gardening and offer a hands-on activity.
