Encanto Community Church, 2710 N. 7th Ave., hosts a special Animal Blessing 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 in the Sanctuary. Church officials will honor First Responder working dogs, as well as bless your companion animals.
Also on hand will be representatives from HALO Animal Rescue and Herman the 6-month-old miniature donkey. All animals and people are welcome; pets should be leashed or in a secure carrier.
