Coup des Tartes, Phoenix’s longest running bistro-style BYOB French-inspired restaurant located at 1725 E. Osborn Road, is throwing off its Gallic roots in favor of some Italian flavor in October.

Enjoy a “Mafioso Murder Mystery Dinner” 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8. Come join the Godfather and his Mob and see if you can figure out who ordered the “hit.” A three-course meal is served including a cheese-and-meat antipasti, your choice of Greek Sea Bass, Moroccan Lamb, Chicken Parmesan or Short Rib Pappardelle for the entrée, and homemade cannoli for dessert. Cost is $65 per person, tax and tip excluded. Alcohol is extra.

Then on Wednesday, Oct. 19, the bistro hosts the Alto Adige Italian Wine Dinner, beginning at 6 p.m. Cost is $80 per person or $150 per couple. Enjoy four courses with wine pairings.
