Since Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) is in the process of expanding into its entire West Valley shelter space, more volunteers are needed.

Volunteers are a crucial and vital part of MCACC. With MCACC occupying all of the shelter space again, more volunteers are needed to help keep the shelter clean for potential adopters.

Volunteers can focus on whichever task interests them, such as: adoption counselor; kennel assistant; Petite Pet Project; photographer; groomer; clinic assistant; event assistant; day foster; and laundry and blanket helpers.

The West Valley Animal Care Center is located at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phoenix, Ariz., 85009. For more information about becoming a volunteer, e-mail mcvolunteer@mail.maricopa.gov.
