The Arizona Humane Society’s (AHS) pets are receiving a cool gift. This summer, Day & Night Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing, a local and family owned company, is donating two air conditioning units and a maintenance package, valued at more than $13,000, to AHS. This is the second consecutive year Day & Night has donated to the pet shelter organization, totaling more than $50,000, to help keep AHS’ pets safe and cool.

The new units will be installed at AHS’ Sunnyslope Campus and provide increased relief to AHS’ trauma hospital patients as well as dogs who are awaiting their spay/neuter surgeries.

“Pets enrich many of our lives, so when the opportunity presented itself to help the Arizona Humane Society we knew we were all in,” said Jeff Martin, owner of Day & Night.

AHS and Day & Night want to remind Valley pet owners to keep their pets safe this summer. As temperatures remain in triple digits, be sure to bring animals indoors, limit outdoor activities and never leave a pet unattended in a vehicle.
