The Gold Star Wives, Phoenix Chapter, will host an event to honor members of all military services (and their widows) who served during the Vietnam Era time period of Nov. 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975.
The event is open to all those who served anywhere in the world during the time period or lost a spouse who was killed in action, a prisoner of war, or missing in action. Also included are those who died from an illness or injury during active duty, or post-active duty from a service-related injury or illness.
The ceremony will take place in the Metro Phoenix area on Saturday, Sept. 22, location TBD. Pins and/or certificates will be given to veterans, surviving spouses and some family members who qualify.
