The Herberger Theater, an Arizona nonprofit organization, is recruiting volunteers to join its cast of ushers to staff performances and provide administrative support. The HTC depends on volunteer ushers to welcome and assist patrons throughout their theater experience for approximately 800 annual performances and events, held downtown at 222 E. Monroe.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer needs to complete the online application at https://bit.ly/1TfvIn2 and onsite training that includes a facility tour, theater orientation, and details about customer service, emergency procedures and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations. The next available training dates are 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday, July 7, and Saturday, Aug. 4 (choose only one).

Students (12 and older) are welcome to participate if accompanied by a trained parent or mentor. Volunteers will be ready to sign up for performances immediately following the application and training process.
