Alyssa Yocabet is a junior at Sunnyslope High School. When she’s not busy attending class or doing homework, she is honing her skills as a talented baton twirler and preparing for her next pageant competition.

Yocabet, 16, already has three titles under her belt and is going for a fourth this June, as she competes in the Miss Arizona Outstanding Teen 2018, to be held in Mesa. Previously she has won the Miss Twirling Athlete’s Outstanding Teen, for 2018 as well as 2016, and also won the Miss Cherry Jubilee Twirler’s Outstanding Teen in 2017.

As part of her participation in this year’s event, Yocabet needs to raise money to cover her entry fees, advertising in the pageant’s magazine, supplies, and more. She is seeking donations from both individuals and business sponsors. Current sponsors include Sunnyslope businesses, Tony’s Delicatessen and Lifeboat Coffee.
