Did you know Americans eat more than 300 million sandwiches every day? In honor of National Sandwich Month in August, Zookz Sandwiches will celebrate with sandwich deals all month long.

Throughout the entire month, Zookz, located at 100 E. Camelback Road, will feature a different 25-percent off sandwich discount every week. The deals also will be available at Zookz’s new downtown location, at 1 N. First St.

For the week of Aug. 6-12, try the cheddar, crispy bacon, tomatoes and thinly sliced turkey topped with Chipotle and green onion scallop potatoes. If you like Parmesan cheese and turkey topped with a kale slaw, pineapple, shredded coconut and roasted almonds, the week of Aug. 13-19 is for you. From Aug. 20-26, the discount applies to brie, ham, apricot preserves and roasted almonds. The month wraps up with cheddar, Monterey jack cheeses and thinly sliced ham topped with a creamy sriracha and green onion mac and cheese, Aug. 27-31.
