The F.Q. Story Preservation Association hosts its 34th Annual F.Q. Story Holiday Home Tour and Street Fair, Dec. 1-2. This year’s tour features charming historic homes on Culver and Moreland streets, west of 7th Avenue.

The F.Q. Story Historic Neighborhood was named after the prestigious landowner of the area in the 1900s—Francis Quarles Story. The district boundary runs from McDowell Road south to Roosevelt Street, and from 7th Avenue west to Grand Avenue.
The celebration begins on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. with holiday-inspired streets lined with luminarias and holiday lights. There will be food trucks, live music and coffee and hot chocolate available for purchase. There is no charge to participate in the street festival. On Sunday in addition to touring homes, enjoy holiday shopping while visiting dozens of craft vendors and food booths at the F.Q. Story Street Fair. Sunday’s hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Tickets for the actual home tour are $15 in advance, purchased online through Nov. 30. Visit http://www.fqstory.org/hometour. The day of the tour, tickets are $20 each, or $19 with a non-perishable food item donation. The ticket booth will be located at 9th Avenue and Culver Street (three blocks south of McDowell Road). A street trolley will be available for those with minor mobility issues (not wheelchair accessible).
