Urban Shed Concepts, located at 1901 N. 99th Ave., has once again teamed up with the 19North Community Alliance to aid in the organization’s community building efforts.

During the month of June, anyone who purchases a shed from Urban Shed Concepts in Avondale can not only feel great about adding that much-needed extra storage space to his or her home, but in addition, Urban Shed will donate $100 toward 19North for every shed sold.

It’s not the first time that 19North and Urban Shed have worked together. The 19North Community Garden, located at 8215 N. 19th Ave., held its grand opening on March 30, and inside the garden was a nice, solid storage structure. Urban Shed gave 19North a $1,000 credit toward the purchase of the much-needed shed.

Shannon McBride, executive director of 19North, says she is grateful for the ongoing support from business partners like Urban Shed Concepts, and that any donations received from purchases made in June will go into the organization’s general fund to aid all of its programs, including the community garden.
