Madison Elementary School District presents a Job Fair 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 in the lobby of the new Madison Center for the Arts, 5601 N. 16th St.

The event highlights both certified and classified positions in the district, including current positions as well as those for the 2019-20 school year. Open positions include guest teacher, crossing guard and paraprofessional. Interviews will be held on site and candidates should be prepared with a resume and letters of reference. Job fair attendees are encouraged to fill out an application in advance at https://madisonaz.org/employment/.

The Phoenix Union Spring Teacher Career Fair is set for 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Linda Abril Educational Academy, 3000 N. 19th Ave. The district is hiring secondary teachers in all subject areas, with an emphasis on applicants certified in the following areas: Mathematics, Special Education, Science and ELL English. The district is introducing a new salary schedule in 2019-20 in which first-year teachers can earn a base of $46,500.

Applicants must complete an online application prior to interviewing at the career fair at www.phoenixunion.org/jobs. Applicants may schedule a screening interview prior to the career fair by calling Audrey Damon at 602-764-1504 or Cynthia Vargas at 602-764-1515. Applicants will also have the opportunity that day to complete an initial screening interview and then interview with campus principals for positions for the 2019-20 school year.
