Allison Spencer of North Central Phoenix successfully completed four years of challenging academic, physical and professional military training, graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Operations and a commission as a U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Lieutenant. She is a 2014 graduate of Sunnyslope High School.

Spencer finished her time at Sunnyslope as a member of the state champion varsity volleyball team. The win was the fifth in six years for the Vikings, with 2012-13 being the only loss.

At the academy, Spencer was a three-year member of the Navy Women’s Volleyball Team that advanced to the 2018 NCAA National Tournament for the first time in school history. In addition, Spencer was named 2018 Female Athlete of the Year from the academy’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) organization.

Her last U.S. Naval Academy leadership billet was 17th Company Commander.

Upon graduation, midshipmen earn a Bachelor of Science degree in a choice of 25 different subject majors and go on to serve at least five years of exciting and rewarding service as commissioned officers in the U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps.
