For many dogs, a trip to the veterinarian’s office can be stressful. The Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL), 15. N. 40th St., wants to help families prepare their dogs for vet visits with its new training course, Pet “Vet”iquette, built for and by its medical clinic staff.

AAWL’s medical director partnered with AAWL’s education department to create a two-hour (one hour per week) training course that helps your pet familiarize itself with a vet office.

Upcoming class dates include: 6-7 p.m. Feb. 5 & 12, Feb. 20 & 27, and March 5 & 12. Dogs must be at least 6 months old. Registration fee is $60. For more information or to register, visit https://aawl.org/training/pet-vetiquette.
