Altered Tails, with assistance from the Petco Foundation, in February offers low-cost surgeries for male and female pit bull or Chihuahua puppies under 6 months of age. The special applies to pure or mixed breeds, owned dogs only.
Puppies must be 3 months or older and weigh 3 or more pounds. A mandatory $20 booking fee is required but may be applied toward vaccines, microchips, take-home medication or e-collars.
