The Heard Museum, 2301 N. Central Ave., offers visitors an opportunity to dig out their Native treasures and bring them to the Steele Auditorium for the semi-annual American Indian Art and Artifacts Appraisal Day, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 6.

Leading Native art traders will examine and evaluate attendees’ items including baskets, textiles, pottery, jewelry, carvings, paintings, sculptures and other Native art forms. Traders will offer information about materials, dates, artists, traditions and provide a Statement of Estimated Value.

Cost is $30 for the first item, $25 for the second item, and $20 for each subsequent item. Limit 10 items per person. For more information, visit heard.org/event/appraisal-day/.
