Seniors can express their creative sides while having fun and meeting other people at two local drum circles.

The first is during the Jewish Family & Children’s Service’s next Memory Café on Thursday, Nov. 7,  from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Participants will play drums with special guest artist Keith Johnson, artist and founder of Sankofa Island Magic, at Beth El Congregation at 1118 W. The AARP AZ Healthy Rhythms Drum Circle will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at Church of the Beatitudes, 555 W. Glendale Ave. No musical experience is necessary and the drums and other percussion instruments will be provided. To register, visit aarp.cvent.com/d/n6qk5d.
