A vegan-friendly nail salon promises to provide comfort and beauty while offering non-toxic products.

Prose Salon, which opened its location at 100 E. Camelback Road earlier this year, uses non-toxic products in a luxurious, spa-type setting. Its nail lacquers and other products used in services are reportedly “seven-free,” meaning they do not have seven toxic chemicals believed to cause cancer: toluene, DBP, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, triphenyl phosphate and xylene.

Customers who come in for manicures and pedicures are treated to extras including cozy blankets, warm neck wraps, ring clinging and/or a complimentary glass of wine to enjoy their self-care experiences.

Prose has locations around the country and the one at 100 E. Camelback is locally owned. First time customers can get a manicure or pedicure for $30. To learn more, visit www.myprose.com.
