It can be easy to get stressed out and many people believe high stress levels are a normal state. Jewish Family & Children’s Service is offering a special lecture to help senior citizens and others learn more about stress and how to relax.
The organization will provide Mindfulness & Meditation 101 at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8 at the JFCS Center for Senior Enrichment at The Palazzo at 6250 N 19th Ave. In this free lecture, people will learn about where habitual stress comes from and what meditation does for the brain. Those who want to attend should RSVP to the Center for Senior Enrichment at 602-943-2198. To learn more, visit www.jfcsaz.org.
