Small businesses in North Central Phoenix and around the country have been struggling financially but a new documentary will reveal their resilience.

Amoroma Productions, a local video company, has started working on a documentary to show how small businesses have dealt with the issues from the COVID-19 crisis by adapting and reinventing themselves. In order to capture these stories, Amoroma is looking for a diverse group of small business owners who will share their stories in the film, which also will include viewpoints of Arizona’s public and private community leaders. Through July 17, Arizona-based business owners are encouraged to share a short video or written document about how their company has been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic and what they have been doing to address the challenges. They should submit their stories at amoromaproductions.com/silverliningsproject.

The video company will choose small businesses from various industries to show their candid trials and stories of perseverance in the documentary. It will contact the businesses it has chosen for the documentary by the end of this month. The documentary is expected to debut in the fall.
