Simba is a big cute boy that came to the Arizona Humane Society in mid-January as his owner at the time could no longer care for him.

This adorable 10-year-old, 110-pound German Shepherd is a little shy at first when meeting people so he would best fit with a patient, understanding family that could help him adjust. Simba is a sweet senior that would definitely enjoy some training to help bond with his new family. He also loves food – it is the easiest way to his heart. Because Simba wants all of your love for himself, he would do best as the only dog in the home.

While adoptions are temporarily on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Simba will be available to be adopted out of the Arizona Humane Society’s Campus for Compassion off 15th Avenue and Dobbins Road. His animal number is 626840. See Simba and other dogs and cats that will be available later for adoption at azhumane.org/adopt.
