The family-owned Someburros restaurant group has opened an eatery at 5115 N. 7th St., where it serves specialties including poll fundido, a borracho burro, and its popular tacos.

Someburro’s dishes are made using long-time family recipes from Sonora, Mexico, and the family’s late Nana Isabel. The Vasquez family opened their first restaurant, Poncho’s, in 1972 and in 1986 opened the first Someburros.

Every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday and this month, in honor of Valentine’s Day, customers may order cheese crisp for $2 at the restaurants.
