Homie, a real estate technology company with a North Central office, is showing tremendous growth in the Valley since launching in 2018.

The company saw a 525-percent growth in the number of transactions it processed from 2018 to last year. Its success in Phoenix occurs at a time of hyper-growth around the country. Homie is continuing to build momentum after its Series B financing earlier this year and it plans to open two more markets this year. This business has about 30 employees in Phoenix with an office at 2425 E. Camelback Road.

With Homie, local real estate agents show clients’ homes and assist sellers through the selling process. It does not charge commissions on sales, but rather just a flat rate fee, which helps clients save a lot of money. Homie estimated homeowners selling their homes save from $9,000 and $10,000 per transaction. The company offers a flat rate of $2,500 compared to traditional agents that typically charge up to 3-percent on the listing side.
