A new coffee shop in North Central – Café Mollie – offers a family-friendly spot to savor diverse, locally brewed java, unusual energy drinks and baked goods created in the community.

Husband and wife team James and Vicky Huynh recently opened the cafe at 6031 N. 16th St. The eatery “can pretty much make any type of coffee,” Vicky said, including lattes, mochas,  whipped coffees, nitro cold brews,  cappuccinos, and Boba tea. Café Mollie uses coffee beans from Cartel Coffee Lab and offers pastries, including many gluten-free and vegan options, from Süss Pastries.

Café Mollie’s energy drinks are made with lotus flowers and berries that have antioxidants. Vicky said these beverages provide the same boost that Red Bull drinks do but are “smoother.” Customers can tailor the energy drinks with various syrup flavors, including prickly pear, dragon fruit and pineapple.

Café Mollie is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. To learn more, visit https://cafemollie.com.
