The owners of the popular Dominick’s Steakhouse at the Scottsdale Quarter are bringing their tantalizing steaks and succulent seafood to Phoenix with the April 5 opening of Steak 44. The new upscale eatery will be housed inside an 8,421-square-foot space that once housed Cork ‘N Cleaver at 5101 N. 44th St., just north of Camelback Road. The landmark chophouse opened in 1978 and was damaged by a fire in 2010.

The re-envisioned space created by LGE Design Build boasts a brand new bar, glass expo kitchen, intimate dining suites, a 3,000-bottle wine vault, and many dining rooms featuring unique architectural detail.

Guests will enjoy several options of the best in prime steaks and chops in various portion sizes, along with a large assortment of side dishes and appetizers to choose from. Some of those dishes include Denver Lamb Ribs, Braised Pork Belly, Fresh Oysters, Roasted “Duck” Potatoes, Steakhouse Stuffing and Potatoes with Schreiner’s Sausage.

Steak 44 entrées will include Petite Filet Mignon, Delmonico, NY Strip, Bone-in Filet Mignon, and Bone-in NY Strip. Additionally, Atlantic seafood selections will be offered including delicate soft shell crab, Shetland Island Salmon and a raw bar featuring an extensive shellfish selection.

Steak 44 will be open daily from 5 p.m. to midnight for dinner service, with the bar open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. For more information or reservations, call 602-271-4400.  To view the extensive menu online, visit www.steak44.com.
