The winter holidays are over but you can still treat yourself or a loved one to something tasty while supporting local restaurants.

Ryan House, a non-profit organization that offers care and programs to help children and their families navigate life-limiting and end-of-life journeys, has organized “Sip. Savor. Dine. Culinary Experiences.” Ryan House, which provides palliative and respite care, had to postpone its annual White Christmas Gala due to the COVID-19 pandemic so it developed this new event, through which the public can purchase private dining experiences, as well as catering for small groups from well-known chefs and popular restaurants.

Purchase a “Family Fun” package, for $1,000, from several North Central restaurants including Spinato’s Pizzeria & Family Kitchen, Original ChopShop, St. Francis and The Parlor. Buy the “Accompaniments – Curated Ryan House Wine Collection from ODV Wines” for $250, which provides five bottles of wine. Those who buy the “Your Personal Award-Winning Chef” package for $10,000 will receive a feast for up to 10 people in their home made by James Beard Award-winning and Michelin-starred chef Allesandro “Alex” Stratta. When you buy this package, the revenue will fund 70 hours of respite care for medically fragile children.

The dining experiences are available through Jan. 31. To purchase, visit ryanhouse.org/sip-savor-dine.
