If you or a loved one has a developmental or intellectual disability, there is a way to have fun and socialize while exploring art online.

The city of Phoenix’s Adaptive Recreation Program offers free, inclusive activities designed for youths and adults with disabilities. One such event, Virtual Adaptive Recreation: Paint Night will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11. Participants will engage in a step-by-step painting process. You will need paint brushes (small and large), as well as canvas or paper and white, black, red and pink paint. The creation will be “Valentines Love Birds.”

Registered participants will obtain a unique code to join the session through Cisco Webex one day prior to the class. The Webex app can be downloaded through iTunes or Android stores or you can find it by downloading it through your internet service provider.
