Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) invites young campers ages 5 and up to register for workshops during its spring and summer break musical theater camps.

Participants will have the opportunity to work with professional teaching artists specializing in acting, singing and dance, creating an imaginative and immersive experience during Spring Break Camp. On the last day of camp, students will showcase their stage presence, confidence and creativity before family and friends in a special showcase performance, created by the ensemble.

Spring camps will be separated into age groups — ages 5–8; 9–12; and 12 and older — and will run Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily. Session 1 will run March 7–11; Session 2 runs March 14–18. The cost is $300.

A four-week Musical Theatre Summer Camp for ages 7–15 will also be offered during June and July. Campers will experience what it takes to create a full musical production from audition to performance, alongside professional teaching artists who will provide foundational training in acting, singing and dance. Family and friends will applaud their hard work on the final day of camp with a performance where all are welcomed.

Both camps will be held at Valley Youth Theatre, 525 N. 1st St., in Phoenix. For additional information, call 602-253-8188 or visit www.vyt.com/education/camps.
