In the North Central area on Wednesdays, Chula Uptown features a dining deal for $55 for two that includes a choice of two appetizers – green curry mussels with coconut lemongrass broth, tomato, shallot, Thai basil and cilantro; raw oysters (3), shucked to order with lemon and mignonette; or cup of clam chowder with Neuske’s bacon, chopped clams and potato – and a choice of two entrées – spicy crab bowl with sake pickled cucumber, carrots, onion, pickled ginger, togarashi candied cashews, sushi rice, mixed greens, sweet soy reduction and nori; salmon burger, a house salmon patty with roasted Anaheim pepper, peach habanero jam, goat cheese, seared onion and arugula on a Noble Fudd bun and served with a cucumber-watermelon salad; or salmon or shrimp pick fish plate, perfectly grilled salmon or shrimp with choice of two sides.
