On a recent field trip, Peaches, a six-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix, enjoyed saying “hi” to new friends (photo courtesy of Arizona Humane Society).

Peaches is a sweet six-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and American Pit Bull Terrier mix who has been in the Arizona Humane Society’s care for more than 100 days. Peaches was rescued in July of last year by Arizona Humane Society’s animal cruelty investigators from a life she did not deserve. She has been in and out of the shelter waiting patiently for her second chance ever since.

This sweet girl is thankfully in good health, needing only a strict regimen of cuddles and relaxation. Peaches is already housetrained and knows commands like “sit” and values a nice couch to lay on.

Peaches loves being the center of attention and would prefer to be the queen of her castle as she wants all of the love for herself. The adorable pup is extremely calm and loves going on car rides.

Peaches (pet number 781566) has charmed every volunteer who has taken her on a Doggy Field Trip and loves to say “hi” to new friends. Meet her for yourself at Arizona Humane Society’s South Mountain Campus or learn more at www.azhumane.org/adopt.
