Flerish Marketplace, a nonprofit thrift and boutique store benefiting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, at 3850 E. Thunderbird Road, will host its Sixth Annual Holiday Market, Dec. 11-13, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
During the store’s holiday market, shoppers can find deals on constantly rotating merchandise, including clothing, jewelry and accessories, shoes and handbags, sturdy furniture, housewares and small kitchen appliances, and unique home décor and art.
The event will feature gourmet foods; fresh treats; an art studio and gallery highlighting original beadwork, paintings, ornaments, and murals; and live entertainment, all created and performed by adults with disabilities.
A hub for opportunity and independence, the thrift store supports Civitan Foundation, a 57-year-old Arizona 501(c)(3) organization that empowers more than 450 individuals with disabilities daily through life-enriching programs and adventures. Civitan members hold gainful, engaging roles throughout the store, building skills, confidence and a sense of accomplishment within the community.
Flerish Marketplace also accepts high-quality donations. To schedule a pickup or view a list of accepted items, visit www.civitanfoundationaz.org/flerish-marketplace or call 602-358-8677.
