Sunnyslope’s VFW Post 9400 will host a Fall Marketplace event on Saturday, Nov. 15. Held at 804 E. Purdue Ave., the event will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will be a wide range of items at the marketplace, organizers said.

“We plan to have homemade crafts and goods as well as items for resale such as designer items to household items and decor. We will also have information about the VFW and VFW Auxiliary at the event to inform the public more about what we do,” they said.

Named in memory of Private Joseph F. Monfort, a native of Arizona and Regular Army enlistee, Post 9400 has served the veteran community and the community at large for over 75 years. It was chartered on June 2, 1947, and the first phase of the building was completed in September 1948. Learn more by visiting www.vfw9400az.org.
