From a variety of specialty boards to charcuterie cups and other nosh and nibbles, North Central residents will find a bounty of seasonal produce and artisan cheese offerings at Charcuterie Creative Marketplace (submitted photo).

For the past two years, Holly Hutton, owner of Charcuterie Creative Marketplace (C&C), has been dedicated to finding exceptional artisan cheeses, seasonal produce and the highest-quality ingredients to bring to clients’ tables.

“Our products incorporate cheeses and meats sourced from farms throughout the USA,” Hutton said. “C&C also supports other women-owned and local businesses with products we feature on our boards.”

The company strives to build connections with its community and clients, she said, adding, “As a chef, I am passionate about curating the best charcuterie boards and procuring products with exceptional quality.”

And now, North Central residents will find her creative creations at a new storefront that opened in late 2024. The small retail shop specializes in all thing’s charcuterie. Clients can pre-order boards, charcuterie cups, veggie boards, fruit boards and other nosh and nibbles on the company’s website and pick-up directly in the store or opt for delivery through a partnered delivery service.

“We offer a quaint space for clients to shop their favorite charcuterie and hosting goods,” Hutton said. “We offer a curated selection of artisan cheeses, specialty charcuterie meats, local products, provisions from woman-owned businesses, refreshing beverages.

During the week, customers can pop in and grab a to-go charcuterie box for a snack or lunch, and C&C is in the process of securing a liquor license to offer a curated wine/beer selection to-go in the new year. Also offered: charcuterie board workshops and eventually cheese and wine pairing events. The space is also available to rent out for private events.

The process of opening a storefront can be a daunting process, but Hutton says that the North Central neighbors have made her feel like part of the community.

“I have been so grateful how everyone has been in welcoming us to The Frederick.”

Charcuterie Creative Marketplace at The Frederick is located at 1215 E. Missouri Ave., Suite 1.
