Junior Achievement of Arizona’s 18 under 18 nominations will close Feb. 14 at midnight. The program seeks to find young people who aren’t waiting until they are adults to make a difference in the world.

“Junior Achievement of Arizona’s 18 Under 18 is one of our most favorite events,” said Katherin Cecala, CEO of Junior Achievement of Arizona. “It’s always exciting to see what tomorrow’s leaders are innovating, creating, developing or advocating for. It never ceases to amaze us how their age isn’t playing a factor. They are accomplishing big goals and learning wonderful skills along the way.”

The organization is looking for young people who have demonstrated leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit as well as participated in community service. They should be active in their community, selfless leaders, change makers and innovators.

The winners will be announced in person in April. Cash and other prizes will be awarded to the winners. Nominees need to be under 18 years of age by July 1, 2024, and attend K-12 in Arizona. To apply, visit www.18under18.org.
