The Zay Project announced that its second annual A Taste of Melanin will take place throughout the month of February. The nonprofit organization will hold a series of events and programs this month to align with Black History Month.
Those looking to explore local cuisine may want to check out the Taste of Melanin Restaurant Week, scheduled to take place in Phoenix and Tucson, Monday, Feb. 10, to Sunday, Feb. 16. For a full week, participating Black-owned restaurants will pull out all the stops to showcase their finest representations of traditional cultural cuisine.
