The Nash is welcoming talented young musicians to join its 2025-26 student ensembles. The Nash offers ensembles for every skill level and interest – each taught in the state-of-the-art John Dawson Jazz Education Center in downtown Phoenix.
The Nash Legacy Ensemble will hold auditions Sunday, Sept. 7, 2-5 p.m.; The Nash Big Band will hold auditions Sunday, Sept. 14, 2-5 p.m.; The Nash Youth Vocal Ensemble held auditions Aug. 25. All auditions will be held at the John Dawson Jazz Education Center, 1014 N. 2nd St., Suite 1. Opportunities are also open in The Nash Futures and The Nash Jazz Divaz – no auditions are required to join these groups; sessions will be held Sundays, 2:30-4:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 14.
All ensemble participants have the opportunity to perform on The Nash’s main stage, sharing the same platform where world-renowned jazz artists appear throughout the year.
